Palin Attempts To Impale Obama On The Oil Spill

A column in today's Washington Post by Ruth Marcus reports such an incredible quotation from Sarah Palin, that I am simply going to reproduce it without any commentary, other than to note that it was made during a recent speech in favor of a losing tea party candidate in Idaho she favored (where there appear to have been several "tea party" candidates) and to remind one and all that she was the loudest advocate of "drill, baby, drill" back in 2008. So, Sarah Palin.

"The oil companies who have so supported President Obama in his campaign and are supportive of him now -- I don't know why the question can't be asked by the mainstream media and by others if there's any connection with the contributions made to President Obama and his administration and the support by the oil companies to the administration. If there's any connection there to President Obama taking so doggone long to get in there, to dive in there, and grasp the complexity and the potential tragedy that we are seeing here in the Gulf of Mexico."

Rand Paul has taken the flag from Moose Lady. And its a wonderful thing for the Democratic party to have these saviors exposing the Republican pigs for exactly what they are: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEl LIARS.

BTW Take a look at this from
Huffington Post

It is off topic. Yet it is the sort of discussion we need very badly. Will we have a nation run by the banks or a nation run by a duly elected government. That is what it really gets down to I think.

Obama has made tons of mistakes here. Vote in a New Jersey Republican in November to help stop the liberal agenda. Watch this video of Dave Larsen skewering Leonard Lance on Cap and Trade!

If there is any connection (blah, blah, blah), then ???? Palin's sentence was never really completed. Which I guess is typical as I always get the sense she assumes her listeners never really passed 1st grade or something. OK, oil companies have given money to both parties. But why would BP want us to not pursue addressing this disaster sooner? Litigation risk, horrible publicity - does Palin think these are good for BP's bottom line?

In her column later on, Ruth Marcus pointed out that McCain-Palin received several times more in donations from the oil industry than did Obama-Biden. Furthermore, it is clear that the breakdown in regulation occurred largely under Bush-Cheney, although as time goes on, that wears out as an excuse.

Oops. She forgot to say "lamestream media."
